2025 Nissan Sentra Price, Interior, Specs – The most popular nameplate for the carmaker in 2025 will be the Nissan Sentra. Nissan has made a point of emphasizing the value and continued significance of the sedan market as we reach the pinnacle of the crossover market as it approaches its eighth generation. The small Sentra receives the same treatment as the mid-size Nissan Altima, which returned for a new generation last year on an entirely new platform.
Nissan’s approach for sedans is to focus on the younger demographic, which is concerned with price, style, and utility. The all-new Nissan Sentra for 2025 looks like a good car from the Japanese company.On the California coast, we went to check how that translated to actual driving.
2025 Nissan Sentra Redesign
Exterior And Interior Design
Style is the initial impression and a crucial component for a car targeted at a younger customer, even if style is nothing without substance. The 2025 Nissan Sentra has a redesigned V-Motion grille, a broader and lower profile, and is heavily influenced by the Maxima and GT-R. The transformation is finished with sharp creases, a lower back roofline, and larger shoulders. The test vehicles’ slim LED headlights and floating roof design are also available for people who want to further customize the Sentra’s fresh approach to aesthetics.
It is a Nissan Sentra from 2025, but more so. With a rear spoiler, black-painted mirrors, lower side sill extensions, 18-inch diamond-cut wheels, and the V-motion grille completed in black chrome, the SR trim gives the new appearance more sporty appeal.
Electric Blue Metallic, Brilliant Silver Metallic, Gun Metallic, Super Black, and Aspen White are among the new color options for the Sentra. Two premium hues—Rosewood Metallic and Scarlet Ember Tricoat—are added on top of it. The 2025 Nissan Sentra now offers two-tone exterior color schemes, similar to the Nissan Kicks, like Monarch Orange Metallic and Super Black on one of our test vehicles.
Nissan’s Zero Gravity seats, which come in fabric, leatherette, and the optional quilted leather trim in our test vehicle, are standard across all trim levels and never fail to please for comfort. Standard seats include a 4-way manual front passenger seat and a 6-way manual driver seat. However, the front passenger must manually use levers to move their seat. Taller passengers on fixed-height seats may occasionally feel their heads brushing the roof. In the driver’s seat or the back, which both provide comfortable seats and adequate legroom for passengers, we had no issues at all. The front headroom is 38.9 inches, the back is 36.7 inches, and the front legroom is 44.0 inches; the back is 37.4 inches.
2025 Nissan Sentra Engine
The old 1.8-liter lump has been replaced with a brand-new 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine from the Nissan family that runs on natural gas.Nissan has chosen to use naturally aspirated engines because they are more straightforward and less expensive than the turbocharged, lower-capacity engines used by other automakers. It makes sense to employ an older engine given the price Nissan has set for the new 2025 Nissan Sentra, especially with fuel efficiency ratings of 29/39/33 mpg city/highway/combined (in S and SV trim, this decreases to 28/37/32 mpg).
The new engine has more power as well. The horsepower has increased by 20% to 149 hp, while the torque has increased by 17% to 146 lb-ft of twist. The most recent version of Nissan’s Xtronic CVT manages power, and the faux “step” changes improve the Sentra’s acceleration “feel” by making it steady, organic, and snappy. Nissan hasn’t released the new Sentra’s 0-60 mph timings, but we can tell that even if the acceleration isn’t particularly strong, it’s more than sufficient for reaching highway speeds.
2025 Nissan Sentra Release Date And Price
For 2025, there will only be three models of the Nissan Sentra: the S, the SV, and the SR.Before delivery, the base model S costs $19,090; the SV starts at $20,270; and the sportier SR costs $21,430. The extremely basic Nissan Sentra S has a 7.0-inch color touchscreen, no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, and 16-inch steel wheels with covers. Push-button start and remote keyless entry are also featured.
In addition to 18-inch alloy wheels, the dark chrome V-motion grille, LED headlights, DRLs, and fog lights, sport cloth upholstery with orange stitching, a rear spoiler, and lower body side sill extensions, the SR trim level has a starting price of $21,430. Along with the premium paint options, the two-tone paint option and a premium package akin to the one offered for the SV for $2,170 are also available for the SR.
